Trident

Fired toward Africa ended up heading to America, nicely covered up by the Tories before the debate about renewing in the HOC.
It's a good job Corbyn's finger wasn't on the red button eh......

It doesn't matter who's in power all governments lie. Always have done and always will.

Will, dress it up how you want but once again this Tory government has lied and will no doubt, with the backing of the MSM, get away with it. Cameron, Shapps, Osborne, Johnson, Hunt and now May, all fucking liars and people like you swallow it down like a good old working class Tory, suck it up.

You can have 100% reliability, but you HAVE to pay for it. One failure in 160 launches is an effective successful performance rate of 99.375% - not ideal (which YOU have to pay for, remember?) but pretty good for such a complex piece of technology.
Whether or not a "cover-up" was attempted or instigated is an important but different question.

Michael Fallon misleading the country with this statement that HMS Vengeance was successfully returned to service.
It was actually completing sea trails after a fit-out and the trial demonstrated that the crew had successfully operated the submarine through shake-down to prove all its systems were seaworthy and operational. The fact that the Trident missile was successfully launched as part of the shake-down and subsequently certified to re-enter service does not answer the question of the missile failure once it was in the sky.
Then you get the US, as owners, developers and suppliers, confirming that it was indeed a missile failure.

ray my dear commie bastard. Does America or Russia publicly discuss in their government chambers when a missile goes wrong?
This is Corbyn getting all excited for a chance to come out fighting for the UK to disarm all its nuclear weapons isn't it? Come on now be honest.

Will, my dear Tory, so what if it 'only went wrong once', it's the lies and cover up that sicken me, if it wasn't 'that bad' then why lie about it?

Most unlike anything mechanical to ever go wrong so definitely worth discussing in Parliament...
Works well for 166 tests and goes wrong once so all the lefties that want us to ban the bombs leap about like they've sat on an ants nest.
Does anyone other than leftie Ray, really give a fuck when Trump is in the Whitehouse, Muslims run amok around the world and UK is cutting the cables that keep the island attached to Europe to allow it to drift westwards....?

If it was the seventies it would have been Polaris, not Trident.

Not doing as well as Ken Barlow - he's made a full recovery in about 6 months.

A little effort, a little research (if it's not TOO MUCH FUCKING BOTHER) will help people assess the ability of "experts".
The Brexit Referendum & Trump election should be a great education to all "non-experts" about what constitutes being "expert" at something, but it seems most are far to keen to put (these same) "experts" right back on a pedestal again, as soon as possible (if only to throw stones at).
If you'd rather spend your time on important things like voting on BGT and ridiculing those on Jeremy Kyle that's nobody else's problem but yours - don't try and make it otherwise.

Andrew MARR is good I think. Even after his stroke. Gets the tone right for a Sunday morning show and is one of my favourite bbc people. Asked the question 4 times and then said you aren't going to answer the question so I will move on. Makes the point rather than go full Paxman and ask 13 times in a row.
May just looked a bit rabbit in the headlights as she knows there is no acceptable answer to the question.

How about putting up on social media the names addresses, workplaces, habits and hobbies of all the people that have served for Queen and country all over the world? Is THAT in the public interest? Why so? Surly that they did so at OUR behest makes that overwhelmingly "public interest"?
Behave, you over-dramatic drama queen.
And yeah Sven, May was an utter mess in that interview. Flustered by the limp wristed Marr of all people.
